Covenant Groups

Covenant groups help us fulfill the part of our covenant "to know and be known" and are an excellent way of being connected to Oakhurst beyond Sunday worship.

Currently we have covenant groups that simply get together over a potluck meal, but there are also groups with a theme such as books, travel, movies, plays, and geographical location.

Current Covenant Groups

Book Club Covenant Group: This ongoing group meets the third Thursday evening of the month in members' homes to discuss a book selected by the members.

Sunday Luncheon Covenant Group: Members of this ongoing eat at a different restaurant once a month after the church service and share fellowship together.

Flicks Covenant Group: This ongoing group attends movies together at a local theater or watches DVDs at a member's home. They discuss the film over a meal at a nearby restaurant or home. Currently this group is not meeting. It needs someone to facilitate it.
