Our Future as the Body of Christ, this Sunday

Our Future as the Body of Christ, this Sunday

"The Lord hath yet more light and truth to break forth..."(John Robinson)

Oakhurst celebrates our identity as radical, inclusive, and creative.  But we might never have had the opportunity to live into any of these values without the heroes and heroines of the Protestant Reformation, who risked their lives so that we might freely worship.  Today many Christian sociologists claim that 498 years later, we are undergoing a new period of spiritual renewal that is once again remaking us as the people of God.  What is our heritage as children of the Reformation and what is our future as God continues to call us into being?  Join us on Sunday as Melanie leads us in a process of asking these questions as the body of Christ in God's world.
