Oakhurst Baptist Church is a diverse Christian community covenanting together "to be the church of God in Christ. We are not here by chance, but God through Grace is making of us a fellowship to embody and to express the Spirit of Christ." 

As our covenant declares, the diversity of Oakhurst expresses itself by including a variety of ages, races, sexual orientations, educational achievements, financial status, laity/clergy and other distinctions. We seek to be one in Christ Jesus and to take part in his ministry in the world.
