Music is an important part of worship at Oakhurst. The services seek to use musical
talent within the church in the worship of God. Occasionally, guest artists from the
metro area participate or lead in music. Oakhurst members love to sing, and hymns
are chosen by worship planning committees to be a part of the worship theme. Hymns are
selected from many sources and include old favorites, new favorites, as well as some
unfamiliar hymns.

The Sanctuary Choir is noted for it’s excellence in performing
great choral music from Renaissance to contemporary.
The Gospel Choir is an adult choir which brings the inspiring sounds
of Gospel Music to Oakhurst worship.
The Carol Choir for elementary school age children and The Cherub Choir
for younger musicians.
