Oakhurst Baptist Church held an “e-cycling” event to reuse, refurbish, or recycle unwanted electronics and accessories on April 26th. To encourage reuse, members were invited to browse for anything they could use. Members of the Georgia Poor People’s Campaign, including several from Oakhurst Baptist Church, gathered at the Georgia Capitol for three Moral Monday events this winter. January 12, focused on Food, Hunger, and SNAP cuts, February 2 focused on Healthcare and Medicaid, and February 23 focused on Housing and Voucher cuts.
