Interfaith Commemoration Service
On the evening of September 18, over 250 people gathered together at the DeKalb History Center for the Interfaith Commemoration Service that begins six months of a Journey of Remembrance and Reconciliation initiated by the DeKalb County NAACP. This effort seeks to honor and memorialize victims of lynching in DeKalb County and will culminate in the installation of a marker in honor of these persons, both known and unknown.
Here is a link to the service. We hope you will join us in this six-month journey.
