Singing Resistance Atlanta Comes to Oakhurst!
The Atlanta Singing Resistance was at Oakhurst Baptist Church on Wednesday evening, April 22, 2026.
What is the Singing Resistance? Shortly after the deaths of Renee Good and Alexander Pretti, the people of Minneapolis took to the streets in songs of resistance. Out of this was born a national movement called Singing Resistance that invites people to raise their voice in song to protest injustice around the world. Nearly 250 singing resistance groups have formed since January. This is more than just learning music, the gatherings create community and are a great uplift during this time of uncertainty.
