Epiphany Season at Oakhurst: Bending Toward the Light
Throughout the Advent season we have been claiming the promise of Isaiah and Mary, that the world is about to turn. Now we look with expectant hearts as we see the world bending toward the light.
What? You say you don’t see the light, yet? Maybe you aren’t looking in the right direction. Turn toward your own heart. Yes, your heart! See that the Christ-child is born again in you this season.
Now, Epiphany calls us to go and share this light and love within us, with all God’s children. As the light inside us grows brighter, others begin to notice the light within their own selves. We begin to see all of creation, bending toward the light within! Together, we shine brighter and brighter. Listen as Pastor Melanie Vaughn-West invites us into this season.
