Pride Sunday
Through the prophet Jeremiah, God tells God’s people to “seek the welfare of the city” where they find themselves living. On Pride Sunday, Oakhurst Baptist Church participates in the Atlanta Pride Parade 2019, wanting to seek the welfare of our city and all the people in it. We believe that God created human sexuality and gender identity in a rainbow of colors and we affirm a vision of God’s kin-dom where all human beings are embraced as God’s beloved children.
