Intentions and Interruptions…
Luke shared, “He set his face toward Jerusalem.” Jesus planted his foot hard in the ground and turned his eyes to the city. The language of the text cannot convey the clear intent of Jesus to finish his life’s journey in Jerusalem. But he left the planned route and took the long way home for the next ten chapters.
