The story of Jonah is often told as one of faithfulness and change of heart as Jonah finds himself desperate inside the belly of a fish. But we miss something if we don’t look at all of Jonah’s honest, intense reactions to what is happening in his world. What can we learn from the depictions of Jonah’s raw humanity?
